    I have worked in several Public Schools teaching subjects like Philosophy, Classic Culture or Psychology. I have also been invited for universities and others institutions as lecturer and researcher in Digital Culture, Art and Technologies.

    Curate and administrate Alg-a Laboratory [+], a relevant independent laboratory where we research about Art and Interactive technologies. I coordinated artist residences, exhibitions and workshops in collaboration with public and private institutions from European level to national and regional level combining global networks with local agents.

    I founded the Pedagogical Innovation Project "The Resonant Theater" [+] based in Visual Thinking and Meaningful Learning where visual arts, dance and theater work together to translate concepts and feelings deeper. I hired my own professional team working at Educational Centers, Museums and cultural spaces. Furthermore the creative composition, sometimes I played a secondary role in scene and always I supervised technical aspects.

The camera obscura is an optical instrument that allows to obtain a flat projection of an external image on the inner zone of its surface. It was one of the ancestral devices that led to the development of photography.

An interactive space where we worked with the memory, the relation with our gestures introducing them in divers bucles. I directed this project with the collaboration of a programmer and electronic musician.

We also interacted with old photographies changing them with creative code programming with free software and using face tracking in an open workshop.

Imagery is a system of relationships between entities and people who try to share and distribute resources and knowledge according to free licenses and licenses for use typical of the emerging Digital Culture. It stands in the territory of Galicia and the North of Portugal, although open to the world, global and local at the same time, aims to be a self-sufficient ecosystem; Exchanging productivity for generativity, marketing for social innovation and, in general, serving as a platform for exchange and knowledge management with a view to revaluing the forms of life in its nomadic singularities.

We understand that the modern city is falling apart, anchored in the paradigm of consumption, has led to our public spaces in large shopping and leisure centers, exhausted the active nature of citizenship and its initiative, as well as the self-sustainable distribution of resources as well as interactivity Of the middle Given this scenario, we do NOT ASK: how to connect to the metropolis? How to make it faster and increase its merchandise in a transnational context of capitalism? But: how to recapture the ways of life in its territory? How can you add a plus of simultaneity, incubate them in real time and connectivity that makes this territory sensible and even intelligent when it comes to generating and distributing resources and participation as well as giving access to new knowledge?

We think of the visualization of data and the theory of games to account for this ecosystem: a cyber-city based on the communes of Galicia and Northern Portugal, which connects to the nodes that register in it, sharing resources, protocols and knowledge in a system Which revalues ​​its use against market value. A visualization that ultimately allows us to detect: what is it that needs a node to generate innovation?

Innovation, development and research project in Visual and Performing Arts through the new technologies (ICTs) for its diffusion and promotion, the approach to new audiences, the retransmission beyond our borders and the improvement of technological tools destined to professionalize the sector.

We rephrase the “hermetic” concept of tradition through ICT in a space where the closed aspect becomes open through cameras and sensors, their interactivity and the telepresence chance.

INFRASTRUCTURES FOR SOCIAL COOPERATION
EUROPEAN UNION. EUROPE FOR CITIZENX BUDGET

An European Project where Alg-a Laboratory collaborated with the Vigo City Council and a network of European Partners elaborating an European interactive map of cooperative citizen practices. We identify social entities or simply methodologies that have generated social innovation and we treat to understand why are they possible as well as make a database with that practices. Finally we present some documents with the European Policy Makers at European Parlament.

VI International Meeting COLLECTIVE ARCHITECTURES

Collective Architectures Galicia is the meeting for the year 2013 of the network Collective Architectures, and will be held in the parish of Valadares (Vigo), from 11 to 14 September.
In essence, it consists of a space of debate, relationship and exchange of knowledge and experiences around the social construction of habitat, that is, the design of the physical space where we develop our lives from a perspective of participation and involvement of the citizenship. The meetings also serve to share problems and opportunities of the territorial reality in which they are celebrated, in this case Galicia.

Imaginary and Contemporary Fair

Imaginary and Contemporary Fair emerges as a space of knowledge, debate and construction around analog and digital networks, free collaborative technologies and open protocols with which to imagine and move towards new realities and collective cultures. Under the concept of a traditional fair, Imaginary Fair will concentrate groups and projects related to Alternative Economies, Information Systems, New Territorialities, Interactive Arts and other Models of Institution. For five days the fair will be developed through workshops, lectures, debates and presentations, stalls and information, facilities and performances.

A imagem não é algo que você possa pensar, mas é algo que lhe permite pensar, como um terreno ou um novo território de pensamento. Continuando com as linhas abertas por Deleuze e Tiqqun, juntamente com uma revisão inovadora de Platão, este ensaio observa o lugar que a imagem ocupa na constituição do humano e as possíveis derivações que, acima de tudo, nascem politicamente. A imagem é algo que necessariamente encontramos em nossas sociedades contemporâneas e, tentando superar as críticas situacionistas, devemos encontrar seu potencial cognitivo.

Bios
O autor Manuel Cebral Loureda é licenciado em Filosofia pela Universidade de Santiago de Compostela e especialista em análise estatística e mineração de dados. Atualmente é professor de Filosofia no ensino secundário. Nos últimos anos trabalhou como produtor e mediador cultural de forma independente e através de Alg-a Lab (www.lab.alg-a.org/pt/). Os seus trabalhos desenvolvem e investigam o uso de tecnologias interativas em diferentes contextos, sempre orientados para a inovação pedagógica e cognitiva.

O mediador Juan Luis Toboso é investigador e curador em arte contemporânea. Doutor pela Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade Politécnica de Valência. Colaborou com diferentes instituições como o Museu Serralves, a Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian e o Programa de Arte e Arquitectura da Guimarães 2012 Capital Europeia da Cultura. Também é membro de vários grupos na Espanha, Brasil e Portugal, com foco na criação de nós de pensamento em torno dos novos processos de criação artística, bem como na investigação de novos territórios na produção, crítica e difusão das artes plásticas. Atualmente é professor na ESAP – Escola Superior Artística do Porto.

Axóuxere Editora (axouxerestream.com) é uma editora e produtora cultural galega, concentrada na construção de processos habitáveis que híbridem o pensamento com formas de vida por inventar. Também editam textos ou materiais audiovisuais problematizadores dos estatutos e discursos que configuram as tramas de subxectivação da contemporaneidade. Igualmente interessada na fracturação dos códigos que impedem a poética de configurações políticas livres. Máquina de guerra em constante transição de estado de ser.

I have presented my book “Teoria da imagem” at SELIC (Santiago de Compostela Book Week) 2018. The book have been published by Axouxere Editora. The image is not something you can thing at all, rather well, is something which lets you think, like a ground or a new territory of thinking. Continuing the lines opened by Deleuze and Tiqqun, together with an innovative revision of Plato, this essay observes the place that the image occupies in the constitution of the human and the possible derivations that, above all, are born politically. The image is something we obligatorily meet in our contemporary societies and, trying to overcome situationist critics, we should find its cognitive potential.

Philosophy can still making relevant questions in our epoch, even more, facing the new digital revolution. If the Artificial Intelligence and the Machine Learning are every time more able to replicate thinking and get closer to a formulation not just logic but even behavioral through complex and deep learning; maybe because of this comes to light that the proper human fact is not reduced to the thinking formulations or ideas, instead there is something prior, which at the same time, conditions us. From Heidegger, Ortega y Gasset, Foucault, Deleuze, Spinoza or Artaud philosophies, I trate to give the keys to understand what we need for think along the next years.

I participate in the Vol. 4, Núm. 2 (2016) of the Magazine Ausart dedicated to Artistic Practices, soft technologies and social machines with an article about the powers and threats of cybernetics as the new social science and its ontological presuppositions; the axiomatic of the system. ABSTRACT

Cybernetics has taken over from the technical and disciplinary social technologies that characterized the social machines in the productivist capitalism until the XVIII and XIX century. Through simultaneous control of the individual and the collective, singularizing the information and redistributing ubiquitously the control points, observation and surveillance throughout the social body, the new network era facilitates behaviors and prevent any accident in the same analytical and axiomatic operation that thus always justified itself, without the possibility of being at the same time controlled, analyzed. An all-one-machine threatens to be implemented as all-one-possible against chaos; for every body, affection, folk, singularity … The speech for the use and development of soft technologies only partly opposed to this logic; because otherwise it is also part of it. Perhaps to break this loop is necessary to clarify the issues that within the movement itself respond the problematizations already expressed in the criticism that precede us.

The video-surveillance body

An article recently published in the book “To debate the body”.

The new technologies, along with other social changing factors, introduce us in a new anthropological space; the one of the knowledge, governed by new values and another way of understanding the productivity and its relations. The media stop being a mass product to offer more information space of the connected multitudes. The audiovisual is not treated as a commodity but as an information device that the mainstream uses, first and foremost, as a video surveillance and control system. But what new possibilities arise for the narratives and artistic compositions? Let us propose an employment of the audiovisual linked to the body and the movement, in an extended dimension, generating information in real time. We link this development to Deleuze-Guattari’s schizoanalysis and the anthropological space they suggest regardless the unity of consciousness and representation.
